SGP Steinheil Ultra Matte

I found this product on the web while I was searching for something to protect my new Iphone 4. After seeing some very positive reviews I placed my order and awaited shipment.  I had tried other protection products from ZAGG, PHANTOM SKINS and  BODYGUARDZ to name a few. The problem I found with these products was they increased the amount of friction on the touch screen surface and made navigation on the screen far less fluid. The other downside was due to the rubbery surface, lint and debris would stick to all edges eventually causing them to lift resulting in dirty loose edges all around my device.

I installed the SPG Ultra Matte kit on my Iphone 4. Installation was quick and easy with far less squeegee action required. Installation took me Less than half the time it did in the past and the results were far more pleasing. The front  LCD film is a dry install product that goes on in 5 minutes and its surface is so smooth that it gives you the same friction free experience as the iphone without a screen shield.
The kit also includes a matte soft skin shield for the back of your phone and side pieces to protect the Iphone 4's metal antenna. To install these parts of the kit you use the included spray bottle, squeegee and lint free cloth. This is a wet install but it still went on much faster for me than any other product I've tried.
SGP also includes 4 adhesive strips that are used to remove any debris that might get on your screen during the install. The matte soft skin doesn't collect finger prints or oil deposits. It looks and feels fantastic! The included side strips that go around the antenna not only protect it from scratches but also help with gripping the phone.  I have no idea how well this product will hold up but I'm very pleased with it so far. The materials and packaging scream quality. 
I would recommend using a small flash light to inspect the matte parts of the kit immediately after installation. The matte portions will remain hazy up to 12 hours after the install and it's very hard to see small lint and dust particles until it dries completely. It's also a good idea to keep a can of air handy to keep your work area and the IPhone surfaces particle free.
This is a very worth while investment for under 30 dollars.
